What Happens If You Eat Expired Sex Chocolate? Shelf Life Explained

Woman eating expired sex chocolate

Let’s say you ordered a bunch of Kinki expecting to have loads of sex, but something happened. Either you didn’t quite need all of it, or maybe you went through a breakup and didn’t know you could use it solo. Now, you have a little bit left that’s technically expired. What happens if you eat it? Do you need to throw it out

We’re going to go over the details, because the shelf life on sex chocolate is far more important than it is with normal chocolate.

Is Sex Chocolate Dangerous to Eat After Its Expiration?

We never recommend eating sex chocolate after the expiration date. As you’ll see throughout this guide, the experience is changed, and we want our customers to enjoy our sex chocolate the way it was intended.

Is it dangerous to eat, though?

Well, technically, it should be fine as long as the packaging isn’t damaged. At least, for a while, it’s safe. It really depends on how expired the chocolate is.

If the sex chocolate is a day beyond the date, it’s almost certainly fine. If it’s 5 years passed the expiration date, we’re not comfortable saying it’s fine. There’s a lot that can happen in that much time.

Within reason, there aren’t many real dangers to eating expired sex chocolate, but the longer you wait beyond the best-by date, the more problems tend to occur. For the most part, they’re minor issues, though.

The exception to this is if the packaging is somehow compromised. If there’s a little hole, the chocolate is going to oxidize and go very stale very quickly. It might also be exposed to things in the air, bugs, rodents, and other things that you don’t want around your food. If the packaging is compromised, throw it out. Even if it isn’t beyond the best-by date.

What’s Most Likely to Happen After Sex Chocolate Expires?

While sex chocolate likely won’t be dangerous after it expires, there are some problems that you can definitely expect.

We’ll go over each one individually.

1. Texture Change

As chocolate ages, it tends to get a sort of chalky texture. It’s hard to describe unless you’ve ever eaten a leftover candy from Halloween months after you got it.

That texture isn’t enjoyable, and it’s not what we intended for you to receive.

While this doesn’t necessarily mean the libido boosters are affected, it does take away from Kinki’s romantic nature. One reason Kinki stands out against other supplements is that it’s delicious and feels like you’re eating a seductive treat. If it’s stale with a weird texture, that effect is lost.

2. Taste

Milk chocolate is delicious, but if you’ve ever eaten chocolate after it has expired, you know that it starts to taste a little funky. All that flavor disappears, and it’s kind of like eating a piece of cardboard.

Again, this doesn’t actually mean the libido-boosting effects are gone, but it does give you a lackluster experience, and we want our customers to experience the best.

Also, like the texture problem, you have to consider how the experience will impact your partner’s experience with Kinki. It should be a sweet and delicious piece of chocolate that gets their motor running. Not a stale, outdated chunk with indiscernible flavor.

3. Potency Issues

We use a blend of ashwagandha, macca, rhodiola, red ginseng, DHEA, and longjack root to make the ultimate libido booster. While the chocolate being a little stale isn’t how we’d want you to experience it, it doesn’t necessarily mean the sex boosting properties are gone.

However, over time, potency can be an issue. Anything that sits, even your run-of-the-mill ibuprofen, loses potency as it ages and breaks down

This takes a long time, but it is something that you should expect if you’re eating sex chocolate after it expires.

4. Stomach Problems

Any time you eat anything that has gone beyond its expiration date, you risk having some minor stomach issues. Sex chocolate isn’t likely to give you any serious foodborne illnesses if it was stored right, but it can feel a little weird in your gut. If it was compromised or the milk-based ingredients went bad, you expect to feel a little off for a bit.

Should You Eat Expired Sex Chocolate?

As we said in the beginning, we never recommend eating expired sex chocolate. If you do, we can’t guarantee you’ll have the experience or the benefits of our natural sex enhancers

Realistically, it’s highly unlikely to have any major drawbacks if it’s just barely expired, and the more time passes, the more you’re going to get subpar quality and weaker effects.

How to Keep Your Kinki Fresh

You can’t do anything about the expiration date. We have to set that based on legal requirements and our own testing to ensure product quality.

However, you can do a few things to ensure that your Kinki stash stays as fresh as possible throughout its intended shelf life.

First, ensure that you store it properly. Chocolate of any kind, especially a sex chocolate, needs to be stored in a cool, dark place. You don’t want to put it in the fridge, but you don’t want it to melt, either.

Also, make sure it’s kept in a place where it’s unlikely to have the packaging compromised. If it tears or otherwise gets exposed to the air, it’ll go stale fast. Not to mention, any pests you have will get quite the boost to their own sex lives.

We also recommend making good purchasing decisions

If it’s your first time and you don’t know if you want to commit to the Kinki lifestyle, just order a box of our sex chocolate. It tastes so good and enhances your sex life so well, we’re sure you’ll go through a full box before it expires.

If you know you’re going to use it often, we offer a subscription option. You get a sweet discount, and we deliver Kinki to your doorstep monthly. This keeps a fresh stash coming regularly instead of having to buy a lot and risking it going bad.

Luckily, none of this should be an issue. Kinki is so effective that you’re likely to fall in love with it and go through your stash fast. See for yourself. Try Kinki today.
